ABOUT ME
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been prone to express myself through art. I grew up writing short stories, songs, elaborate birthday cards, and what I didn’t really realize until later to be poetry. Photography and cinematic works always caught my eye. Music seemed to represent me when the words couldn’t. Opening up wasn’t all that easy for me, but having these outlets to turn to made being an introverted, heavy-feeler more enjoyable.
I spent much of my younger years buried in books and daydreams, some therapy and heartbreak, spontaneous travel, and isolation to reflect. The words I share to this day hold a lot of sentiment to those memories, as well as ones I create in the present. Up until 2024, I never thought I’d call myself a poet, nor that I would be able to incorporate several of my passions into that. The universe had other plans - and for that I’m grateful.
Today, thanks to an audience that appreciates my vulnerability, I share my writings and visuals in consistent hopes to impact more searching souls. My work is simply art that is honest to my human experience, from my mistakes and traumas to my journeys through healing. By sharing it, I have found the impact that it can have, as well as many like-minded people. If you’re reading this, thank you for being a part of my story and the reason I continue to create.
